Circus London

Sooooooo last night was pretty wild!

It was my beaut gal Josette’s birthday. Even though it was a school night, we had to celebrate. YOLO.

The ladies had a whole day of loveliness planned (cake at Peggy Porschen’s and errythang, jel). Also, you have to see the amazing cake Michaela whipped up. She hand made all the roses with icing, this gal has an INSANE talent.

I met the girls for Aperol Spritz at the Rosewood after work. Sassy AF. £16 for a drink, casual *weeps*.

The rain was c r a z y, so we hopped in a taxi to our next destination, Circus. Pfffft June, ya let down.

I wasn’t going to blog the evening (hence phone camera quality!) but oh ma gaaawsh it was SO amazing I had to share it with you!

Circus is tucked away in Covent Garden, and I had never heard of it before. It is essentially dinner, with cabaret aaaal up in your grill. We were luckily on the ‘stage’ table (where the action happens). Shortly after we took our seats and poured a glass of bubbles, the lights went down…

We swiftly moved our glasses off the table and shuffled back in our seats. All of a sudden…

I was in awe. All the videos are over on my Insta-Stories if you fancied a peek!

As the performers disappeared and the lights came up, it was time for starters.

Circus London

Edamame beans with sea salt & soy, veggie sushi, chilli salt squid, salmon nigiri, rare beef salad (veggie one for me!) and crackers with chilli garlic and plumb dip.

Finished? Time for the next show…

Fire breathing, nipple tassels, the works. I still don’t understand how fire breathing works!

Oh, and another performance! Not everyday you get a man doing the splits on your dinner table…

Safe to say, we most definitely felt part of the action!

Time for mains…

Circus London

Teriyaki salmon (my fave!), wild mushroom toban yaki, smoked aubergine, black Angus fillet, lychee & aubergine red curry. Ooft it was all so good! Also, service was top notch – they had all the veggie / pescatarian options which is always a plus.

After we polished off our mains, there was one more show that I forgot to take snaps of (but it is on Insta-stories!) and the sweetest desert of a mini caramel chocolate slice and passion fruit and red current tart in a bento box! I ate it so quickly I didn’t snap it, doh! Anything passion fruit and choc is gonna be good though >:)

My friend got an amazing deal where it was £30 quid each for everything – I will find out where she found it and let you know! SUCH a fun night out.

Feelin’ it today though, oops!

Check out Circus here. Have you been before?
