Corr blimey I feel like these love lists are coming thick and fast! I can’t believe we are almost half way through 2k17?! What da heeell?
Anyway, it has been a month full of the good stuff, so I can’t complain. I guess this is the reason I love writing my monthly love lists. Time moves so quickly, it is important to document the highlights. The nuances of life that make you smile, that are worth remembering to pick you up on a rainy day.
Lets get to it!
MY 24TH BIRTHDAY
I was blessed with the most beautiful birthday weekend! I had such a lovely day with Matt and my family. Matt whisked me off to Kew Gardens, we strolled for hours hand in hand, sunbathed and gobbled ice creams. We then we had a corker of a BBQ with my fam. #blessed that it was the hottest weekend of the year so far too, get in son.
TRAINING FOR MY 10K
I have finally got my bootay in gear and have started training for my 10K race (20th May, eep!) Some days the last thing I wanna do is head out on a long ole run, but having a reason to push myself has really helped. Fingers crossed I keep it up ay!
HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD
I took Matt to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for his belated birthday present. Hands down one of the best stage productions I have seen in ALL. TIME. The special effects were just i n s a n e and the acting was incredible. I shall say no more, #KeepTheSecrets and all that. But seriously, it was worth every penny. Have you seen it yet?
EASTER WEEKEND IN DEVON
Over the Easter weekend we headed down to see Matt’s fam in Devon and it was bliiiissss. We had many country walks, took a steam train to the seaside, played arcade games and ate fish ‘n’ chips. It was so nice to catch up and take some time out. Just what we needed!
MOULIN ROUGE SECRET CINEMA
For a lil early birthday pressie, Mumma took be to Secret Cinema’s Moulin Rouge. We got our show gal glad rags on and went aaaaaaall the way back to 1890’s Paris for the evening. It was absolutely MAGIC. I don’t want to say too much, as I really, really think you should go. There is craziness, aaaall the drinks, dancing, singing, Ewan McGregor AND raclette. What’s not to love?!
These babies have been our go-to dinner throughout April. The beaut Carly Rowena introduced me to the most dreamy, satisfying pizza. Just two tortilla wraps, topped with ALL the toppings ya fancy. It is light, delicious and pretty darn healthy too. Carly, you are a babe.
I have seen a lot of my ladies this month. BBQ’s and Aperol spritz on the balcony, hilarious nights out, picnics and my birthday weekend. These gals completely spoilt me and made me feel all warm ‘n’ fuzzy inside. <3
May is all about visitng fam (FINALLY going home to the Isle of Wight!), events, hard work, my 10K run AND ALADDIN. so excited (if ya can’t tell hehe)
What were your April highlights?
