Easy Granola Bowls


This lil’ number is rapidly turning into one of my favourite breakfasts.

Super easy, comforting and good for ya. Oh, and they look pretty… That helps too.

The thing about these is that you could have them as a cheeky spread on a lazy Sunday, or you could have then quickly as you rush out the door on Monday morning.

They take 15 mins to make, and the granola bowls keep for about a week in a sealed container. I was on the mission to stop grabbing bread smothered in PB / Nutella / Honey each morning so I needed to create an easy alternative. Here are my granola bowls.

Grab yourself the following:

1 1/2 cups rolled oats

Whatever nuts you fancy (coconut, pecans, cashews etc)

2 tbsp chia seeds

3 tbsp coconut oil

3tbsp cup honey / maple

Natural yoghurt, coyo – any topping of choice!

All ya fave fruit, I went for blueberries and raspberries <3

Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 4 / 180g

Combine oats, nuts and chia seeds in a bowl.

Melt oil and honey together in a sauce pan.

Pour into mixture and mix it aaaaaall up so nice and covered.

Place around 2 spoonfuls of the mixture into greased tart tins and press aaall the way down – I just used ma fingers for this part!

Bake for 15, keep an eye on em.

Remove from oven when lovely and golden. Work at them quickly to press into shape with the back of a spoon.

Leave to cool completely before removing from tins! Take your time when removing them from the tins as they will be a little delicate.

Add your yog and fruit and you’re good to go!
