October Love List

9

Oh wow, it’s November. It is chilly as ya like, the Christmas decorations are up, mince pies all over the shop and I just looked and there are only 60 days left of 2K16. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!

October has been crazy busy but SO much fun. I have been all over dem autumnal feeeels, embracing hygge, dark nights and cinnamon buns. There has also been a whole bunch of adventures, mostly with my gal pal Emily who ya probably know pretty well by now! We had SO much fun, laughed a lot and made some lovely memories that I will cherish forevs. Let’s get to it!

1.

OLD FRIENDS

12

Having a chum ya haven’t seen for years and getting on like you saw each other yesterday is one of the best things in life. We live on opposite sides of the world but I’m sure we will be pals fo’lyf. Spending 10 days with this lovely lass was a right laugh, we are already planning our next adventure! Teehee.

2.

CAUDALIE MOISTURISER

I love falling back in love with an old beauty gem. I had forgotten all about my beaut Caudalie moisturiser (ahem, Matt stole it lol) it is the most beautiful, refreshing moisturiser. Perf for this time of year when the winds are bitter and my skin is just like NOPE not a fan of this.

3.

FARM GIRL CAFE

Farm Girl Cafe Notting Hill

I am SUCH a fan girl of this place and I’m not even ashamed. Yup basic blogger I may be, but this place is the dream. Delish rose lattes, GF cakes dusted in glitter, beautiful, wholesome yet super comforting menu. Ya gotta check this place out next time you are in the Notting Hill area, make sure ya take a picture too #alltheinstagoals. lol.

4.

GOING ALCOHOL FREE (KINDA)

Towards the end of the month, we cut waaaaay back on the ole alcohol.  I’ve had a few cheeky drinks here and there, but OH BOY do I feel good. So full of energy, I even wake up BEFORE my alarm goes off, now that’s really saying summin’. Tis’ the season of mulled wine and G&T’s, but I am loving the whole sober lyf atm.

5.

SHAKESPEARE’S GLOBE

shakespeares globe

Whilst Emily was in London, she was desperate to see some theatre. As in proper English theatre, none of the glitzy West End stuff. Since A Level drama days I have loved the Globe. We went for a tour then decided to grab some tickets to see Imogen (my name’s sake hehe). The tickets were cheap as chips (only a fiver to stand) and the show was INCREDS. The new director, Emma Rice has turned Shakespeare around. I mean, the opening scene was to Skepta SHUTDOWN. It all felt so wrong, but so right. Make sure you go to a show next time you are on the South Bank.

6.

BLACK MIRROR

In the winter months, Netflix becomes a large part of my lyf. If you are looking for something new to watch, get your teeth stuck into Black Mirror. Season 3 has just launched and it is SO good. Sinister, but well worth a watch. Do you have any other recommendations for me?

7.

SUNRISE AT THE DUCK & WAFFLE

Sunrise Duck and Waffle

Despite the struggles of getting up at 5AM and travelling across town, watching the sun rise over London whilst having the most beautiful breakfast was such a lovely experience. The Duck & Waffle will forever be one of my favourite restaurants in London, the prices are affordable, the food is always top dolla and the views. Just the views. LONDON U BABE.

8.

M&S LINGERIE

Mumma always knows best. And when she says M&S lingerie is the one, she is right. I picked up a BEAUT body and I have fallen in love. This sassy number is perfect to wear under shirts / sheer tops, or maybe even on its own with a sassy pencil skirt ya lil minx >:)

9.

ADVENTURE PLANNING

thailand2

Sooooooo Matt and I are off to Thailand in February. OH MA DAYS I am SO excited I’m not sure what to do with myself. I have never been to SE Asia and have been dreaming to go since I was a nipper. There is so many crazy adventures to come, I going to soak it all up as much as I possibly can. Have you been before? I would LOVE any recommendations if ya have!

November should be a pretty relaxing month. I plan to spend lots of time in ma PJ’s / in baths and maybe some Christmas prep with a few lovely family weekends and a few exciting bits thrown in too. What are your plans this month?
