Valentines Day is creepin’ up on us like a ton of Cadburys Milk Trays and roses.
The 14th of Feb has always been an odd one, I’m never quite sure how I feel about the whole thing.
Tis’ a day that oozes awkwardness – you’re either sat in a carriage full of canoodling couples on the tube or loitering around the card aisle in ASDA for far longer than necessary.
However, if you wipe away the heart shaped silliness it’s just a normal Saturday that gives you another excuse to spend some time with ya loved ones – if that’s a significant other or a bunch of chums. Scrap the pricey dinner/night out and stock up on ice cream, cake, tea, wine, pizza and relax… Keeping it nice ‘n’ simple is always the best idea.
If you fancy getting into the Valentines mooood or just wanna reminisce on some old school bangers (I’m talkin’ year 8/9 here) I have made a little playlist full of 90’s/00’s choons, from Barry White to Bobby V – this is not a serious selection in the slightest (Fat Joe doesn’t grace my ear holes regularly) but I’ve attempted to squeeze in the corkers I could think of, what have I missed?
